I am a writer

Disclaimer: Это "домашка" к курсу "English composition"

Actually, I am not a writer, though once in my life I really wanted to be a speech-writer for somebody. When I was a teenager, I was a member of Young journalists club, we wrote different articles and a local newspaper published them.  I also had a diary and wrote there different girlish things.  Nevertheless I hated to write compositions at school. It was a nightmare for me, or maybe I just understood that nobody was really interested in my thoughts, but everything was to be done “in a proper way”, and nobody, except the teacher, knew what it was.

Now I am just a person, who loves writing, mostly I write my observations and thoughts. I love watching people, thinking about different things and put in on paper. Well, not on paper, but on the screen.  I have a blog and when my writing muse is with me, here I have one more post.  Yep,  sometimes to express my thoughts/observation on the paper I need inspiration to write,  I just need my muse.

I know that a muse is something that comes when it wants and leaves without a notice.  One thing is when you need  muse for your hobby, but another  - when you need it for your work. Though I am not a writer, I write almost every day. I am a translator.  In fact, I am a simultaneous interpreter, but I also have written translations to do.   On the one hand, it’s easier than to write, but on the other hand – there is no so much room for your own thoughts.

So, I am not a writer, but may be one day I will publish a book…

same thing here... I was about to become a journalist; had a portfolio of my own published articles (mom still keeps all that stuff na dache), attended club meetings, got acquainted with local newspapers' publishers... and then my parents killed my dream: was so mad at them back then; dad always used to say that a person should learn how to create thing and not just трепаться языком. BUT, if they wouldn't Shurha and I'd never met and I would have never met you)... whatever happens happens for better, and since people read what you write, you are a writer..
